Overview

Two new animal feed manufacturing sites in NSW engaged Risk and Safety Solutions Melbourne (RSSM) to provide essential safety and compliance services. Manufacturing facilities that handle and store chemicals used in the production process must meet stringent safety and regulatory standards to ensure safe operations and minimize risks. 

Our scope of work included preparing Dangerous Goods (DG) Reports and conducting Preliminary Hazard Analyses (PHA) for both sites. These services were critical to ensuring the facilities met all relevant state regulations while safeguarding the health and safety of workers and the surrounding community.

Dangerous Goods (DG) Reports

– We developed detailed Dangerous Goods Reports for each site, categorizing and quantifying the hazardous substances used and stored on-site.

Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA)

– A comprehensive Preliminary Hazard Analysis was conducted for both sites to identify potential risks related to chemical storage, handling, and production processes. 
– The PHA provided actionable recommendations to mitigate identified risks, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
